Simu Liu Joins MEFCC 2026

Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) raises the excitement for 2026 as Simu Liu, Marvel’s iconic Shang-Chi, joins the star-studded lineup alongside Christopher Judge, MEFCC’s first announced English voice actor. The region’s largest pop culture festival returns to Abu Dhabi from 24 – 26 April 2026, promising an unforgettable celebration of fandom.

Making a special appearance at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), the Chinese-Canadian actor, writer, and executive producer who made history as Marvel’s first Asian lead superhero will meet fans in person. Known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Kim’s Convenience, and Barbie, Simu Liu will be available for photos and autographs 📸✍️.

Joining him is acclaimed Italian Marvel artist Federico Vicentini, whose work spans Amazing Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Falcon & Winter Soldier. Fans can connect with him at the Comic Creators Club 🎨🖌️. Legendary comic book artist Brett Breeding, known for his work on Superman, Spider-Man, and Thor, will also attend, bringing nearly five decades of creative brilliance.
