This Is Michael Live in Abu Dhabi

The King of Pop is moonwalking back to Abu Dhabi. THIS IS MICHAEL, billed by Etihad Arena as one of the biggest live celebrations of Michael Jackson’s catalogue anywhere in the world, lands on the Yas Island stage for a single UAE date on Saturday 22 August 2026.

The show

This is a full-arena tribute concert, not a biographical play. The setlist sweeps through the hits and the staging leans into the moments fans actually came to see – the Thriller-era choreography, the Bad-era leather, the Smooth Criminal lean and yes, the moonwalk. The cast moves through the eras with live vocals, a touring band and the kind of light and video production a venue the size of Etihad Arena is built for.

Doors and seating

Doors open at 6:30 PM on Saturday 22 August 2026. Seating is tiered with a flat floor section depending on the ticket category.

WOW-ABUDHABI Expert Tip: Yas Bay’s car parks fill up fast on concert nights. Park at Yas Mall and walk the 10-minute promenade along the waterfront – it’s free, scenic and you skip the post-show queue back to your car.
