Yep, the Mohammed bin Zayed City Aquatics Complex will be transformed into the world stage, thanks to the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and the Abu Dhabi Aquatics Club, who’ve locked in a four-year deal to keep the splash going until 2028. That’s not just planning—that’s Olympic-level commitment.

Abu Dhabi isn’t the only newbie on the Para Swimming party map. This year, Barcelona (Spain), Fuji-Shizuoka (Japan), Lima (Peru), and Paris also made their debuts. Honestly, it’s like the cool kids’ table just got a lot more inclusive—and we’re here for it.

Before the grand finale in Abu Dhabi, all eyes will be on Singapore, where the Toyota World Para Swimming Championships will take place from 21–27 September. It’s another first—Asia’s turn to shine! After that, the World Series picks back up in Lima (23–25 October) before the big finish in—you guessed it—our very own Abu Dhabi.
