La Terre en Transe - Taoufiq Izeddiou

La Terre En Transe (“The World in Trance”) is Moroccan choreographer Taoufiq Izeddiou’s powerful exploration of trance as both a creative force and a spiritual journey. Performed by nine dancers and accompanied by three live musicians, this spellbinding piece is a call to rediscover meaning in a chaotic, hysterical, and violent world.

Through the pulsations of Gnawa beats, traditional Italian melodies, and the hypnotic pull of global techno, bodies connect in vibration, pushing themselves to the edge of exhaustion to break free—from self, from the world, and from the noise. In this space of liberating freedom, trance becomes truth… and truth becomes transformation.
