This September, the capital city is swapping camel races for… well, business races. From 17–19 September 2025, Abu Dhabi will host the 68th Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) Convention & Exhibition, and it’s shaping up to be a cultural and economic handshake across the Arabian Sea.
Business Meets “Business with Goodness”
Under the theme “Business with Goodness”, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is inviting over 1,000 Indian travel industry bigwigs, power networkers, and vacation dream makers to mingle in true Emirati style. Think less boring conference tables, more glittering skyline views, cultural showcases, and that famous Arabian hospitality.
Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi, couldn’t have put it better:
“The event will foster enduring partnerships between Abu Dhabi and India.”
Translation: this isn’t just another corporate get-together—it’s a ticket to more business, more tourism, and yes… possibly more reasons to book that Abu Dhabi trip you’ve been daydreaming about.
Why This Matters for Abu Dhabi & India
With India being one of Abu Dhabi’s largest tourism markets, this convention is more than just photo ops and ribbon cuttings. It’s about:
- Boosting tourism flows between the two countries.
- Showcasing Abu Dhabi’s offerings to Indian travelers (from desert adventures to luxury stays).
- Creating travel packages that make Instagram influencers and family vacationers equally happy.
Expect travel agencies to leave with packed notebooks and even fuller selfie galleries.
