EEIPC 2026 Wraps Up with Sky-High Drama at CLYMB™ Yas Island

EEIPC 2026 wrapped up at CLYMB Yas Island with elite indoor skydiving, new disciplines, and global champions crowned.

If gravity had a fan club, it was definitely in the audience last night. The Emirates EASA International Parachuting Championships 2026 (EEIPC 2026) officially came to a jaw-dropping close at CLYMB™ Yas Island Abu Dhabi, and let’s just say—this wasn’t your average sports finale. Think precision, speed, teamwork… and a whole lot of humans casually defying physics.

The champions were crowned in the presence of some serious heavyweights, including Dr. Mohammad Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral, alongside senior leaders from the global and regional aerosports community. Big applause, big moments, and even bigger air moves.

A Truly Global Skydiving Showdown

Hosted by CLYMB™ Abu Dhabi in collaboration with EASA and the Emirates Aerosports Federation, the second official EEIPC World Skydiving Championships welcomed over 250 elite athletes from more than 30 countries.

And here’s a milestone moment worth pausing mid-air for: for the first time ever, athletes representing the UAE competed shoulder-to-shoulder with the world’s best indoor skydivers. Goosebumps? Same.

Five Events, One Giant Flight Chamber, Endless Wow Moments

Across five championship events, competitors pushed the limits inside the world’s largest indoor skydiving flight chamber. The performances were fast, flawless, and borderline unbelievable—like choreography, but at wind-tunnel speeds.

In the 3rd International Skydiving 16-Way Double Event for Indoor Formation Skydiving, a powerhouse team from Russia took the world title after delivering technically stunning formation sequences that had judges—and spectators—locked in.

Meanwhile, the 2nd International Indoor Skydiving 8-Way Event was an all-out battle of nerves and precision. After several intense rounds, Russia’s “Tanay” emerged victorious, proving that consistency really does win championships.

Racing Through the Air (Yes, That’s a Thing)

The Aerial Indoor Racing World Championships 2026 brought serious adrenaline to the arena, with lightning-fast contests across pursuit, relay, and race formats.

  • Pursuit Champion: Sebastian Garcia (Mexico)
  • Relay Champions: Landon Karaberis & James Rogers (USA)
  • Overall Race Champion: Sebastian Garcia (USA)

Blink and you missed it—but trust us, it was spectacular.

New Disciplines, New Legends

EEIPC 2026 wasn’t just about crowning champions—it was also about rewriting the rulebook. Two brand-new disciplines made their world debut, and they did not disappoint.

The inaugural International Indoor Skydiving 4-Way Battle Event, an innovative all-female head-to-head format, was won by “SIBERRIES” (Russia) after a fierce showdown that proved competitive skydiving is as empowering as it is exhilarating.

And in another first, the International Vertical Sequentials 8-Way World Championship title went to a team from the USA, who delivered a series of flawless routines that looked effortless (even though we know they absolutely weren’t).

Abu Dhabi’s Momentum Just Keeps Rising

With athletes flying in from Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United States—and plenty more—EEIPC 2026 once again highlighted Abu Dhabi as a rising global hub for major sporting events and world-class entertainment.

From cutting-edge venues to international talent and headline-worthy moments, this championship didn’t just end—it soared. And if this is what indoor skydiving looks like in 2026, we’re officially excited for what’s coming next.
