RunYAS Launches at Yas Marina Circuit

Abu Dhabi is gearing up for an electrifying start to 2026 as RunYAS, a brand-new community running festival, arrives at Yas Marina Circuit. Led by Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) and organised by Ethara, this high-energy event aims to inspire the entire community to “Be a Champion” in health and wellbeing. 🎉💪

Headlined by Olympic legend Sir Mo Farah and Emirati Olympian Maryam Al Farsi, the inaugural edition on 11 January 2026 promises an unforgettable festival atmosphere filled with music, F&B, family fun, and fitness excitement. 🌟🇦🇪

RunYAS welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, offering diverse race categories:

✨ Yas Kids (1k & 2k) – For Abu Dhabi schools and sports clubs, exclusively for children under 14.
✨ Yas Relay – Teams of 3 can take on part of the Yas Lap for a fun team challenge.
✨ Yas Lap (5.281k) – Open to all aged 14+, perfect for families, colleagues, friends, and first-time runners. Finishers receive a bespoke RunYAS Champion t-shirt by Capelli Sport.
✨ Yas 10k – Ideal for advanced runners or anyone ready to take on an iconic race to kickstart the new year.

With 2026 declared the Year of the Family, RunYAS celebrates community spirit, healthy living, and the joy of movement — brought to life by inspiring words from ADPHC’s leadership, Ethara’s CEO, and both Mo Farah and Maryam Al Farsi. 🌍❤️
