The Spartan City race

Calling all warriors – it’s time to lace up, level up, and leap into action! The Spartan City Race is heading to Etihad Arena, Yas Bay Waterfront, on Saturday, 20 September 2025, and trust us, this isn’t your average fun run. Think fast-paced, high-energy chaos packed into 3 adrenaline-pumping kilometers with 15 iconic Spartan obstacles. Yes, there will be sweat. And probably mud. But most importantly? There will be glory.

Set largely within the climate-controlled comfort of the stunning Etihad Arena (with a few cheeky outdoor segments for good measure), this Spartan City format is tailor-made for speed, intensity, and accessibility. Whether you’re a first-timer dipping your toe into the world of obstacle racing, a seasoned Spartan chasing another medal, or part of a team looking for the ultimate corporate challenge—this one’s got your name on it.

And we didn’t forget about the kiddos! The Spartan Kids Race will be taking over too, with age-appropriate obstacles and plenty of muddy fun:

• 1km race for ages 4–6
• 1.5km race for ages 6–9
• 3km race for ages 9–14
