IKEA’s Levantine Food Fest Is Here—And Dishes Start at Just AED 9!

Enjoy IKEA’s Levantine food fest at Yas Island! Dishes from AED 9 only, available from Aug 6–11. Taste tradition today!

Okay, be honest—when you think IKEA, your brain probably goes straight to DIY furniture, those adorable flat packs, and maybe, just maybe, the famous meatballs. But this week? Forget the Allen key, because IKEA is unlocking something way more delicious: a Levantine feast that starts at just AED 9. Yes, NINE.

From August 6 to 11, IKEA’s restaurant at Yas Island Abu Dhabi is giving your tastebuds a passport to the Levant—no boarding pass required. We’re talking about the kind of food that hugs your soul and makes your eyes roll back in delight. And did we mention the prices? Because seriously, where else can you grab a warm, comforting soup for the cost of your morning coffee?

Daily from 11:30 AM to 9:30 PM
Dishes from AED 9–49
Authentic. Affordable. Absolutely unmissable.

So, what’s cooking?

Chef Abderrahim Lhnnaoui (regional culinary wizard at IKEA) has whipped up an exclusive menu that’ll have you saying Yalla, let’s eat! faster than you can assemble a LACK table. The dishes take inspiration from the rich traditions of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, and Turkey, with a modern twist that still honours grandma-approved flavours.

Here’s the mouthwatering lowdown:

  • Soups of the Day (chicken, veggie or wheat): AED 9. Warm, wholesome, and perfect for dipping your bread while you pretend you’re in Beirut.
  • Cold Mezzeh Platters & Salads: AED 9–12. Choose from the salad bar or indulge in the iconic mezze vibes with creamy hummus, smoky baba ghanoush, and more.
  • Mains that’ll ruin you for basic dinners forever: From AED 25–49. We’re talking lemon chicken with potatoes, kofta bi tahina, salmon babaghanoush, mussakhan, and the all-time royalty of Levantine dishes—lamb shank mansaf.
  • Sweet Finale: Because dessert is a non-negotiable. Try the pistachio muhalabiya or go big with the golden, gooey Kunafa.

And just to make it even more special, IKEA’s roped in the fabulous Chef Rita Soueidan, culinary storyteller extraordinaire, to sprinkle in a little foodie wisdom. She’s even sharing her signature cold mezze plate (available for purchase), and if your curiosity needs feeding, she’ll be there to talk all things Levantine culture and kitchen tales.

Why you need to go (besides the food coma)

Aside from the ridiculously good food deals, IKEA’s Levantine Days are all about celebrating culture through the universal love language: FOOD. It’s a flavour-packed way to explore heritage, meet new friends (or just people-watch while you chew), and score an Insta-worthy meal that’s way cooler than whatever you meal-prepped this week.

Hot tip: Everything’s available daily from 11:30 AM to 9:30 PM, but only until August 11, so don’t sleep on it.

So, whether you’re a die-hard foodie, a hummus hoarder, or just looking to escape the summer heat with a side of mansaf, this is your official invite to head to IKEA Yas Island and dig in. And hey, if you leave with a full belly and a new coffee table, we’re not judging.
