Shaping Abu Dhabi’s financial leaders of tomorrow
Hosted by Education Interface, in collaboration with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and supported by the Ministry of Education, the initiative is designed to turn high‑achieving Emirati students into tomorrow’s movers and shakers of the banking world.
Think of it as a crash course in leadership, strategy, and finance—but with actual access to real banking environments. The program began with a pool of 600 of the UAE’s brightest Grade 11 and 12 students, whittled down through rigorous evaluations to just 30 future leaders. If you’ve been following Abu Dhabi’s youth-driven learning drive, the vibe echoes hands‑on programmes like the 421 Teens Program 2025 that push real-world skills alongside classroom learning.
From classrooms to bank branches
The chosen 30 weren’t just handed certificates—they stepped into FAB branches for real‑world training. For students, this meant sharpening analytical skills, building leadership confidence, and experiencing firsthand the workings of Abu Dhabi’s financial sector. It sits neatly beside the emirate’s wider empowerment moves—think practical policies like Abu Dhabi housing loans and extra financing for citizens that strengthen family stability and long‑term planning.
Abu Dhabi is also keeping the talent pipeline healthy at school level, where future‑ready tweaks—such as backpack weight limits in Abu Dhabi schools—signal a broader commitment to student wellbeing and performance.
National vision, real-world impact
Her Excellency Dr Mouza Saeed Al Badi, CEO of Education Interface, emphasized that the program reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ensuring Emirati youth are equipped not just with knowledge, but with leadership capacity. Her Excellency Hana Al Rostamani, Group CEO at FAB, added that partnerships like NYFP unlock skills for the nation’s sustainable progress—right in line with the UAE’s financial literacy drive through institutions like the Central Bank of the UAE.
Zooming out, it all connects to Abu Dhabi’s future‑focused playbook: building a competitive, knowledge‑based economy while investing in quality of life. Culture keeps pace too, with culinary showcases like the MICHELIN Guide Food Festival 2024 energising the city’s soft‑power scene. And on the sustainability front, the emirate is laying long‑term foundations via its Climate Change Adaptation Plan, ensuring tomorrow’s leaders inherit a resilient economy and environment.
