What happens when you mix teenage dreams, business plans, and a whole lotta hustle? You get VentureTeens Arena—a weekend so packed with teen-powered genius that even your LinkedIn feed would be jealous.
From Brainstorms to Booths – Teens Took the Lead
Hosted at Reem Mall on April 26 and 27, 2025, this wasn’t just any mall event with balloons and face painting (though, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love those too?). This was a full-blown teenpreneur takeover. Think of it as Shark Tank, but with more TikTok references and fewer suits. Organized by Eduventures, this interactive program gave youth aged 14 to 18 a chance to pitch, sell, shine, and—plot twist—win a trip to London! Yep, that London. With red buses and business dreams.
After weeks of bootcamps, coaching, and probably way too many late-night WhatsApp group calls, over 30 teen teams strutted their stuff at a vibrant indoor marketplace. We’re talking handmade products, techy gadgets, sustainable solutions, and yes—some seriously savvy marketing. Visitors didn’t just browse—they engaged, cheered, and shopped (because supporting the future generation is totally retail therapy, right?).

The crowd favourites?
- Teen-run business booths that could put adult entrepreneurs to shame
- Live pitches that felt like Dragon’s Den with school bags
- Workshops and fun zones for the fam—because innovation needs a little glitter too
- And prizes for the most out-of-the-box ventures (because what’s an event without a bit of competitive spirit?)
Bruce von Kaufmann, the Mall Director himself, summed it up perfectly: “This isn’t just an event. It’s a movement. One that nurtures leadership, creativity, and purpose.” Big round of applause, please.
A Movement in the Making
And just when you thought it couldn’t get better—drumroll—the winning team was crowned VentureTeens Entrepreneur of the Year. Their reward? A once-in-a-lifetime London experience with Unilever (cue the gasps), where they’ll learn how to take their business idea from mall stall to global brand.
Ahmed Al Barbary from Eduventures added, “These teens brought their A-game. We saw vision, courage, and creativity that could easily rival the big leagues. It’s not just about learning business—it’s about becoming the business.”
So, whether you walked away with a handmade candle, an eco-friendly wallet, or just a big ol’ dose of inspiration—VentureTeens reminded us all of one thing: the future isn’t coming. It’s already here… and they’ve got booths at Reem Mall.
