Concerts in Abu Dhabi Right Now
The action has shifted to Yas Island, where Etihad Arena is running a packed summer-to-winter season – Egyptian maestro Omar Khairat, Pakistani superstar Atif Aslam and Bollywood’s Sonu Nigam – building to Christina Aguilera in September and the Shakira-headlined OFFLIMITS festival in November:

This is a properly broad spread – orchestral grandeur, Bollywood nostalgia, South Asian stadium-pop and a full-blown international festival, all within a short drive of each other. Omar Khairat is the goosebumps one for anyone who grew up on Egyptian film scores. Atif Aslam and Sonu Nigam are the sing-every-word arena nights. And if you only splurge on one weekend all year, OFFLIMITS with Shakira is the headline act of 2026.
Omar Khairat – Saturday 20 June
The Egyptian composer and pianist makes his Etihad Arena debut with a full orchestral performance of the cinema and theatre scores that soundtracked a generation. Doors open 7:30pm, show at 9pm. Tickets start around AED 199 and rise to AED 749 for the top categories, sold through Platinumlist and the Etihad Arena website. If you grew up on Egyptian films, this is the goosebumps night of the season.
Atif Aslam – Saturday 18 July
One of South Asia’s biggest voices brings his arena show to Yas Island mid-summer. Expect a packed crowd singing every word from the first note. Doors 7:30pm, show 9pm, with tickets starting around AED 95 – the most affordable big show of the run. Sonu Nigam: The Revolution Tour – Friday 21 August
The Bollywood playback legend launches his new world tour, The Revolution, right here in Abu Dhabi – his first big arena concert in the region. Doors 7:30pm, show 9pm at Etihad Arena. Tickets start around AED 95 and climb through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Royal categories up to AED 2,500, via Platinumlist and Etihad Arena.
Coming Later in 2026
Autumn brings the international heavyweights. Christina Aguilera plays Etihad Arena on Friday 25 September – check the listing for ticket categories as they release. Then the big one: the OFFLIMITS Music Festival takes over the open-air Etihad Park on Saturday 21 November, headlined by Shakira with the Jonas Brothers, Ne-Yo and a deep supporting bill. Festival passes sell through the official OFFLIMITS site, and the marquee nights go early – register interest now if Shakira is on your list.

WOW Expert Tip: Almost everything plays Yas Island now, so make a night of it – park once at Etihad Arena or the Yas Bay car parks, eat at the Yas Bay Waterfront beforehand, and you will sidestep the post-show exit crawl. Doors open 7:30pm but headliners rarely start before 9pm, so there is no need to rush the door.
How to Book Concert Tickets in Abu Dhabi
Most Abu Dhabi concerts sell through Platinumlist and the official Etihad Arena website, with some also on Ticketmaster UAE. Prices scale by category – general admission or upper tiers are the AED 95 to 200 entry point, while front sections and VIP tables run much higher. For in-demand acts the cheaper categories sell out first, so if budget matters, book early rather than waiting for the week of the show.
