American Ballet Theatre at Abu Dhabi Festival

One of the world’s most celebrated dance companies, American Ballet Theatre (ABT), arrives in Abu Dhabi for its highly anticipated Arab World Premiere at Abu Dhabi Festival 2026.

The extraordinary programme brings together three landmark works, showcasing the beauty, precision and evolution of ballet. The evening opens with Frederick Ashton’s radiant Birthday Offering, a dazzling celebration of classical elegance set to Alexander Glazunov’s sparkling score. 🩰✨

The programme continues with Nuages, a new commission by legendary choreographer Jiří Kylián, inspired by the evocative music of Claude Debussy. Dreamlike and atmospheric, the contemporary work adds a poetic dimension to the performance. 🌙🎶

The spectacular finale is Paquita, staged by Natalia Makarova after Marius Petipa. Known for its regal style, brilliant ensemble sequences and dazzling Grand Pas Classique, the masterpiece promises a magnificent celebration of ABT’s classical tradition. 👑💫
