Here’s your slice of latest Abu Dhabi news – and it’s good news for travelers. Flying with IndiGo from Abu Dhabi Airport just got easier, smoother, and dare we say… a little bit glamorous.
Starting August 11, IndiGo has rolled out a new Abu Dhabi city check-in service with Morafiq Aviation Services, letting you sort your bags and boarding pass before you even reach Zayed International Airport. That’s right – no more mad dash through terminal crowds.
What’s in this travel update for Abu Dhabi flyers?
It’s as easy as picking a check-in spot in the city, dropping your bags anytime between 24 and 4 hours before departure, and strutting out with your boarding pass ready to go.
This latest Abu Dhabi travel update means:
- No juggling heavy suitcases at the terminal.
- No standing in mile-long queues.
- More time for a slow coffee or a quick shopping spree.
A launch day freebie and expansion to Al Ain
On August 11, check-in is free for all IndiGo passengers. And from September 1, residents in Al Ain can also use the service – making this not just an Abu Dhabi news story, but a UAE-wide win for travelers.
Where to find the new Abu Dhabi city check-in points:
- Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal – 1 (Ground floor)
- Yas Mall City Check-In (Below Peppermill Restaurant)
- Mussafah: Al Arzaq Street, Shabia-11 (Behind Al Madina Hypermarket)
- Al Ain: Inside LuLu Hypermarket – Kuwaitat (available from Sept 1)
Plenty of parking is available at all locations, meaning you can skip the airport chaos and start your trip feeling like a VIP.
So next time you’re flying IndiGo from Abu Dhabi Airport, swap the early morning stress for an extra hour of sleep – or, let’s be honest, one last round of shopping in Yas Mall.
