The question of what home means will be explored through an evening of powerful performances, where poets, spoken word artists, musicians, and storytellers from diverse backgrounds will come together to share their cultures and heritages. This National Day, Hekayah | The Story will be held at The Black Box in NYU Abu Dhabi, offering an intimate celebration of the UAE’s diverse voices.
The event will be hosted by Shahad Alsaqqaf, with the performances curated by some of the UAE’s leading figures in the literary and performing arts communities. The event, selected through a collaborative curatorial process, will showcase the creative talents of local and international artists.
