Kryptonite Collider officially opens today, 27 July 2026, introducing an all-new DC thrill ride packed with powerful motion, dramatic lighting and the possibility of unlocking your very own “superpowers.”

Meet Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi’s Newest Ride
Located along the streets of Metropolis, Kryptonite Collider is the first new permanent ride attraction to open at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi since the indoor theme park welcomed its first guests in 2018.
That makes its arrival a pretty big deal—and Lex Luthor clearly has no intention of making a quiet entrance.
The immersive 32-seat attraction uses a centrifuge-style ride system to bring Luthor’s Everyman Project to life. Riders are swept into a fast-paced experiment featuring intense motion, dynamic visuals, onboard audio and synchronised lighting effects.
In other words, expect spinning, excitement and at least one moment when you question why you trusted a famous Super-Villain wearing a very expensive suit.
What Is The Everyman Project?
The experience centres around Lex Luthor’s latest attempt to prove that Superman is no longer the only person capable of extraordinary things.
His plan? Use kryptonite to unlock superhuman abilities in ordinary people.
For anyone unfamiliar with DC lore, kryptonite is the rare mineral famous for being Superman’s greatest weakness. For Lex Luthor, however, it is less of a dangerous alien substance and more of an exciting opportunity for highly questionable research.
Naturally, guests are invited to become his latest volunteers.

Your Experiment Begins Inside LexCorp
Before boarding the ride, guests enter a highly detailed LexCorp laboratory—the headquarters behind many of Lex Luthor’s most notorious schemes.
DC fans will immediately recognise the futuristic surroundings, while everyone else will quickly realise that this probably is not a standard laboratory tour.
Inside, participants receive a briefing about The Everyman Project and the experiment they are about to join. The level of detail helps build the story before the ride even starts, placing guests right at the centre of Luthor’s ambitious plan.
You are not simply watching the story unfold. You are the experiment.

Step Into the Kryptonite Collider
Once all 32 volunteers are aboard, the Kryptonite Collider powers to life.
The centrifuge sweeps riders through a high-energy vortex as motion, onboard audio, visuals and lighting work together to simulate the sensation of developing extraordinary abilities.
Rather than relying on movement alone, the attraction surrounds guests with effects that make Lex Luthor’s experiment feel surprisingly convincing.
Whether you emerge feeling stronger, faster or simply very aware of your ability to scream remains to be seen.
Discover Your New Superpowers
The fun does not end when the centrifuge slows down.
After completing the experiment, guests can check interactive digital displays to discover which “superpowers” they have acquired.
This personalised finale puts Lex Luthor’s theory to the test and gives every participant a memorable result from their time inside the laboratory.

A Major Milestone for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi
Hind Galadari, General Manager of Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, described Kryptonite Collider as an important milestone for the attraction.
She explained that every part of the experience—from entering LexCorp to discovering newly unlocked powers—has been designed to place guests at the heart of Lex Luthor’s story.
The ride also builds on the immersive storytelling and world-class entertainment for which Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi has become known.
DC Super-Villains Are Taking Over This Summer
Kryptonite Collider arrives at exactly the right moment, as DC Super-Villains descend on Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi during DC Super Hero Season.
Running until 30 August 2026, the seasonal celebration sees the balance of power beginning to shift across the park. Guests can expect live entertainment, memorable character encounters and immersive experiences as legendary DC Heroes and Villains clash throughout the summer.
So, while Lex Luthor conducts experiments in Metropolis, you may find plenty of other familiar faces plotting—or attempting to save the day—nearby.
Officially the World’s Best Theme Park
The new ride follows another major achievement for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
The attraction was recently named the Best Theme Park in the World at the 2026 Liseberg Applause Award. It became the first attraction in the Middle East to receive what is widely regarded as the theme park industry’s highest honour.
Apparently, being the region’s largest indoor theme park was not enough. It had to become the world’s best and open a kryptonite-powered Super-Villain experiment in the same year.
