Peking Opera Live in Abu Dhabi

The China National Peking Opera Company brings Mid-Autumn Festival: A Moonment to Remember to Cultural Foundation on Friday 18 September 2026 – a rare chance to see this 80-year-old company perform in the UAE.

The show

The company presents a selection of acclaimed Peking opera pieces – the stylised movement, elaborate costumes, painted faces and live music that define one of China’s most enduring art forms. Expect heritage and precision rather than spectacle for its own sake, shaped by more than 80 years of artistic legacy.

Doors and seating

The published time is the 8:00 PM show start, staged in the ground-floor Auditorium. Minimum age is 6. The Cultural Foundation auditorium is compact, so arrive with time to find your seat before the lights go down.
