Abu Dhabi is getting ready to welcome Sandstorm Playgrounds, a new pop-culture festival bringing together the excitement of a comic convention with the energy of a curated community marketplace. From August 14–16, 2026, fans, gamers, collectors, artists, and cosplayers will gather at Manarat Al Saadiyat for a weekend packed with entertainment and fandom. 🦸‍♀️🎨🎮

The festival will feature an exciting Pop-Culture Marketplace, Artist Alley, TCG and video game tournaments, a vibrant Cosplay Showcase, and much more. Whether visitors are passionate about comics, gaming, collectibles, or creative culture, Sandstorm Playgrounds offers something to discover. 🃏🕹️✨

Adding a unique twist, the festival introduces a new approach to event access: comics are the way in! 🎟️📚 After purchasing tickets through Virgin Megastore, attendees can select their preferred Sandstorm manga or comic.
