Experience WE ARE ONA’s first Middle East pop-up—an immersive art-driven dining collaboration on Jubail Island this November.

Picture this: the soft glow of sunset over Jubail Island, a whisper of sea breeze, and a beautifully set table that looks more like a sculpture than something you should actually eat off of. Welcome to Manar Abu Dhabi’s latest “yes, we are that city now” moment — an exclusive pop-up dining experience that blends food, art, atmosphere, storytelling, and just a dash of delicious mystery.

Running 16 – 22 November 2025, this collaboration brings together Manar Abu Dhabi, Michelin-starred chef Solemann Haddad (of Moonrise fame), and the world-traveling, boundary-blurring culinary collective WE ARE ONA, founded by the brilliant Luca Pronzato (yes, the guy who worked at NOMA, the restaurant other restaurants dream about).

The entire setup is designed to make guests feel like they’ve stepped into a suspended world — one where flavors, visuals, sound, texture, and space join forces. As plates appear and aromas rise, the experience unfolds like a quiet, dreamlike conversation. And because WE ARE ONA specializes in temporary, once-in-a-lifetime pop-ups… when it’s gone, it’s gone.

If fine dining had an art school phase, this is it.

Founded in 2019, WE ARE ONA has hosted more than 100 pop-ups everywhere — Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Arles, Aspen — each one crafted like a moving exhibition. They collaborate with artists, designers, architects, and even fashion houses like Chanel, Saint Laurent, Jacquemus, and Carla Sozzani.

And now? They’re telling one in Abu Dhabi — for the very first time in the Middle East.

Your Chef for the Night: Solemann Haddad

Solemann Haddad isn’t just a chef — he’s a storyteller with a Michelin star and a plate-as-canvas philosophy. Known for his restaurant Moonrise, he blends cultures, memories, and ingredients into dishes that are somehow emotional and delicious at the same time.
