Holiday planning in the UAE tends to go one of two ways. Either you are the organised hero with an itinerary, or you are searching “what to do this long weekend” two days out while sipping karak. Yas Plaza Hotels quietly caters to both, with a theme park staycation package timed to almost every big holiday.
We first covered the Eid package here. This page now tracks all of Yas Plaza’s holiday stays: what the last Eid deal included, what is on for National Day and Grand Prix weekend in December 2026 and how to book before the good rooms go.
National Day and race weekend 2026
This December the two biggest weekends on the island collide. The UAE National Day holiday falls on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 December 2026, and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix runs from 3 to 6 December at Yas Marina Circuit, right next door to Yas Plaza. The hotels’ answer is The Race Weekend Stay: circuit access paired with dining experiences, from AED 5,900+++ with a four-night minimum over 3 to 6 December (checked September 2026).
WOW Abu Dhabi Expert Tip: Only here for National Day and not the race? Book the Ultimate Yas Staycation for the nights before 3 December instead. Race week pricing kicks in fast, and Yas Island traffic on race days is not how anyone wants to spend a public holiday.
What the Eid package includes
The Eid Al Fitr 2026 package ran from 19 to 22 March, from AED 885++ per night, with Yas Island theme park access included in the stay. That covered the big four:
- Ferrari World for high-speed thrills
- Yas Waterworld for slides and splashes
- Warner Bros. World for cartoon heroes
- SeaWorld Yas Island for marine encounters
The Eid itinerary writes itself: wake up, choose a park, repeat, collapse happily. Expect the same shape for Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha in 2027, usually announced a few weeks before the holiday. Between holidays, the Ultimate Yas Staycation gives you up to four park tickets per room, per night, and runs until 15 December 2026.
Where you stay
Yas Plaza is six hotels with over 1,400 rooms: Crowne Plaza Yas Island, Staybridge Suites Yas Island, Yas Plaza Bay, Yas Plaza Marina, Yas Plaza Circuit and Yas Plaza Mangroves. Whichever you book, you share the Cyan Beach access, pools, wellness facilities, free island shuttle and around 21 dining venues.
