What’s New at ADIHEX 2026: The Biggest Edition Yet

Saker falcon, the iconic bird of UAE falconry showcased at ADIHEX in Abu Dhabi

ADIHEX turns 23 in 2026, and organisers are calling it the largest edition in the show’s history. If you went a few years ago and thought it was big then, brace yourself. Here is what is new and worth seeking out this year.

A record-breaking 23rd edition

Running from 28 August to 6 September 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, the 2026 show spreads across 15 sectors covering falconry, camels, equestrianism, saluki, hunting and shooting sports, fishing, outdoor vehicles, arts and crafts and heritage preservation. For the full overview, see our complete ADIHEX visitor guide.

Expanded falcon auctions with online bidding

The famous falcon auctions have grown beyond the exhibition halls. In 2026 there are pre-exhibition sessions on 15 to 16 and 22 to 23 August, followed by in-show auctions on 29 to 30 August and 5 to 6 September. A refined online bidding system lets international collectors inspect falcon records and place bids remotely, opening the auctions to a global audience. We explain how it all works in our falconry at ADIHEX guide.

More for families

The family programme keeps expanding. Highlights include falcon-handling experiences, archery, shooting simulators, art workshops and sessions on Emirati customs and Arabic coffee. The Young Falconers Village returns to introduce children to falconry, animal welfare and heritage through guided, hands-on activities.

Live demonstrations and competitions

Across the ten days you can catch live demonstrations, heritage showcases and competitions that bring the traditions to life rather than leaving them behind glass. It is this mix of commerce, culture and spectacle that keeps ADIHEX unlike anything else on the UAE calendar.
