The children’s play destination that opened at Dubai Mall back in 2024 is set to open a second UAE venue at The Galleria Al Maryah Island. The doors will open in August 2026. It will sit on the 3rd floor of the mall, which puts it right in the middle of one of the city’s busiest family hubs.

The brand has named five signature attractions for the Abu Dhabi venue:
- Boo Boo Jungle – the headline play zone, expect climbing, soft play, and the kind of layout small children can disappear into for an hour.
- Stadium – a sports and games area built around active, team-style play.
- Snow Pool – snow play without the cold-weather trip. The Dubai venue runs a snow zone, and it’s consistently one of the parts kids talk about afterwards.
- Car Racing – ride-on cars and a circuit, aimed at the slightly older end of the under-12s.
- Farm to Table – a pretend-play setup around farm animals, food, and cooking, the kind of role-play zone that tends to keep toddlers busy.
Alongside the signature zones, there will be a rotating set of activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Boo Boo Laand hasn’t published the full Abu Dhabi floor plan yet, so the final list of zones may shift before launch.

Anyone who’s spent two hours watching a four-year-old in a play centre knows the value of a decent seat and a coffee. The Abu Dhabi venue is launching with an on-site café in partnership with an established café brand, which the company has yet to name. Boo Boo Laand Abu Dhabi is being set up as a full family destination rather than a play-and-leave venue. From day one, it will offer:

The Galleria Al Maryah Island is one of Abu Dhabi’s largest malls, with 400-plus stores and more than 100 dining options. It already leans hard into family entertainment. You’ve got a 21-screen VOX Cinema with IMAX, the National Geographic Ultimate Explorer, a Zero Latency VR experience, and three rooftop parks. Including a dedicated Family Park with climbing frames and soft play.
Adding Boo Boo Laand into that mix means you can build a genuine half-day around it: play in the morning, lunch at one of the casual spots, and a film in the afternoon. For families who don’t want to gamble a whole day on a single venue, that flexibility matters.
Getting there is simple. Al Maryah Island connects to Downtown Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat, and Yas via six bridges. It’s roughly a 30-minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport. The mall has over 7,000 parking spaces across three car parks, plus valet parking. There’s also a bus stop near the northwest entrance.
